Controversial TZ musician Dudu Baya banned for mocking late media boss Ruge Mutahaba

Controversial and violent Tanzanian rapper Godfrey Tumaini, known to many as Dudu Baya has been labeled the 'enemy of the state' following his recent scuffle with authorities over his dirty slur against the late Ruge Mutahaba, CEO and co-founder of Clouds Media.

The rapper has learnt his lesson the hard way after his negative remarks about the late Ruge ruffled nearly everyone who turned against him with a heavy troll, reminding him to respect the dead.

Baya did not only receive a bashing of the year but also got arrested over the same and released hours later on police bond.

If that is not enough, BASATA(Baraza La Sanaa Taifa), a body that overseas entertainment industry in the country de-registered him and strongly condemn his erratic behaviour.

In an official statement dated Thursday, February 28, BASATA held the decision was met after thorough consultation with relevant people including countless Tanzanian musicians who also found the rapper 'guilty'.

''Baraza La Sanaa La Taifa(BASATA), a body equipped with the mandate to oversee arts in the country has canceled the registration of musician Godfrey Tumaini aka Dudu Baya effective Thursday, February 28 2019,'' the statement read.

''This move has been taken by BASATA following the arrest of the musician, because of his negative comments on social media,'' BASATA held.
The statement means the musician is banned from performing or involving himself in anything in the entertainment circle.

Baya's predicaments came just days after he took to Instagram and shared countless video talking ill of the late Ruge.

In his rants, claimed Ruge did not deserve to be celebrated because he stole from Tanzanian musicians and killed the dreams of many.
